The Sky Bar has sweeping views over Sorrento and feels like a lovely little retreat. The hotel is right in the heart of town, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Our rooms were clean, the meals delicious, and the breakfast buffet was even better than we'd expected. So many good things to say about this gem.

The rooftop bar had a relaxed atmosphere and incredible views across the rooftops to the sea. My drink was excellent, and the service was attentive, professional, and friendly. If you're in Sorrento, stop in for one, two, or more drinks.

The staff are what made our stay special. Before booking they answered all our questions, and once we arrived they went out of their way to sort out breakfast for our dietary needs. When I developed a tooth infection, the reception team were kind and quickly found me a same-day emergency dentist. It was all sorted in one day, so I could enjoy the holiday. A huge thank you to them. My family stayed just over a week in the family solution. The hotel is centrally located on a slightly quieter road, and our modern, clean rooms were peaceful and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the pool, though it got busy in the afternoons, and the bar had a nice feel. There was even a violinist one night.

The Sky Bar was a fantastic bonus, with brilliant cocktails, a breathtaking view, and staff who were friendly, funny, and really helpful. The hotel is also in a great spot, so you can walk to most things in Sorrento. My wife and I got married in Sorrento and stayed at hotel plaza. I don't think we could have picked a better hotel. If I ever return, I'll 100% stay here again.

Our glass shower door came off its track while my husband was showering. It was terrifying. The rooftop experience was just as disappointing: the staff were rude, and we were told the rooftop bar was closed when it wasn't. It says it closes at 11:30, but at 11:00 we were turned away even though there was a full party, music, and people drinking up there. I can't give this hotel five stars after paying for amenities we couldn't access, and I'd be wary of booking it for those facilities. Do better, Plaza. The man at the bar downstairs was wonderful.
