Il Saraceno

We felt safe here, thanks in part to the secure door locks, and the area was calm despite being close to everything. It took about five minutes to walk to the train station and around ten to the main square. The host was kind and helpful from the start, with smooth communication and great Sorrento recommendations. Daily cleaning was a lovely touch: after a day out exploring, it was nice to come back to a clean, tidy space. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return or recommend the apartment.

Very comfortable, in a great spot. We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t fault it.

The owners were warm and helpful, and gave us good ideas for things to do in Sorrento. We enjoyed having breakfast out on the balcony. It was plentiful and nicely prepared. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and very pleasant. The location is central too, close to restaurants, shops, the harbour, and the station.

The hosts were so helpful, sharing lots of nice suggestions for what to see and where to eat. One restaurant tip led us to the best pasta we had in Italy! They even kept our luggage while we went to another city, which was very kind. The room was cleaned every day, the bed was comfortable, the shower worked well, and everything in the room worked as it should. A few things to bear in mind: the room is very small, much smaller than it looks in the photos, and the soundproofing isn’t good, so we could hear people in other rooms. It felt more like a dorm than a B&B, since it’s one large apartment split into rooms with no shared area. If you don’t need much space and want a caring host, we’d recommend it as a place to rest. K&J
