Massimo was the only person I met during my stay, and he was really helpful. After checking me in and showing me around the rooms, he shared lots of ideas for things to do and places to eat. The room itself was spacious and great, with a full-length mirror in the hallway area, which is separated from the room by a sliding door. Iovino is right in the middle of Piazza tasso, which made getting around very convenient. Some nights I could hear singing or karaoke, but it never went past 1am, or maybe my earplugs did the trick.
There was everything we needed for a short visit in this lovely room on one of Sorrento's main streets. Just keep in mind that street noise could be an issue if you're sensitive to it. I'd recommend it.
We had a lovely stay. The room was clean, centrally located, and decorated beautifully, with a balcony looking out over the main pedestrian street. A very friendly gentleman greeted us, and parking was available about five minutes away.
The shower was unpleasantly cramped, with the curtain brushing against you the whole time. The room looked cute at first, but we were in 101, facing the main street, and the noise made the night a nightmare. A bar downstairs draws young people until at least 3:00 a.m. We raised it with the staff, who told us to shut the window even though it was already closed. They showed no concern. I absolutely wouldn't recommend staying here.
