Salvatore made our first trip to southern Italy so much easier. He arranged private rides to and from the airport and along the Amalfi coast with reputable companies at reasonable prices. He also shared restaurant suggestions we loved, helped us figure out the city and surrounding area, and was always available on What's App to come by when we needed him. Maison Nana has three immaculate ground-level rooms in a residential building on a quiet street. They have good air conditioning, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Piazza Tasso, the main square in Sorrento, and a short walk to the port, bus, and train. Breakfast is included, and Salvatore serves homemade baked goods and makes for great company with his local knowledge. He paid attention to the little things, too. When my husband mentioned a favorite kind of pastry, he had some freshly baked from a local bakery ready the next morning. I told him I only ate a particular kind of yogurt, and that was waiting for me at breakfast the next day. I had forgotten my walking stick and couldn't find one to buy locally. Later, the doorbell rang and Salvatore was there with a new one and a big smile. We even walked together to the weekly Sorrento marketplace and became good friends. I'm so grateful we met this incredible man. There are so few like him, and I miss him. I hope we meet again.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Sorrento. The B&B was modern, spotless, well run, and very reasonably priced, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was continental, with lovely homemade cakes and fresh squeezed orange juice. Salvatore was such a kind and knowledgeable host, and nothing seemed too much trouble. For my birthday, he gave me Prosecco and a homemade cake. He was always ready to help with anything we needed. The area felt very safe and clean. It was only a five-minute walk from the main train and bus station, handy for the sights, and about 10 minutes on foot to central Sorrento. My husband and I came from the UK, and we'd happily recommend Maison Nana. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you, Salvatore! Suzanne & Alan x

Salvatore was a welcoming owner and spoke great English. The optional breakfast cost 15e per person and was insanely good, with handmade espressos too. It's a quiet, car-free street, close to everything: seven minutes on foot to the square and six to the train station. The rooms are clean and modern. Thanks, Salvatore!

When my two friends and I came to Sorrento, staying at Maison Nana was the best choice. Salvatore made breakfast for us every morning and was incredibly kind. He has great stories and was ready to help with anything we needed. The location is perfect, just a few minutes on foot from the main station, city center, port, and everything else. Our room was spotless and cleaned every morning. We'll definitely come back and stay in the same place.
