Palazzo Montefusco Relais

Step outside Montefusco and you're right among Sorrento's street markets, with restaurants, the train and bus station, and the port all walkable. The port is handy for ferries to Positano or Capri. My family and I stayed for a few days, and Giuliano and the rest of the welcoming staff made us feel at home. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We'd recommend it 11/10.

Giuliano kindly kept our bags after checkout so we could enjoy the rest of the day in Sorrento before heading to our next destination. He and the other staff were helpful and made sure the stay went smoothly. Hotel Montefusco Relais was very clean and looked just like the photos. I'd definitely recommend staying here, a hands-down five stars.

We found this little place in central Sorrento, within an easy walk of everything we wanted to see and needed. With just a handful of rooms, it felt intimate and removed from the usual bustle of a big hotel. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, and our room had everything we wanted, including a great shower. We'd happily come back.

The staff went out of their way to help us, and their service is why I'd give this place five stars. Breakfast is very basic, but it holds you over until an early lunch. The hotel is right in the heart of Sorrento, about a seven-minute walk from the train station. I do think 4.5 stars would be fair, since there's no elevator up to the front desk.
