A roomy, comfortable place that worked well for a vacation. It's close to the station and main shopping area, but still quiet.

The room was really nice, but checking in felt odd and took a long time.

The apartment and the building are both badly maintained, and the place didn't look like the photos. It was 35°C when we arrived, but the air conditioning barely cooled anything, so we slept in the heat for all three nights. The bathroom needs repairs too, and the mattresses sag. A nightmare. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and planned to spend two days here, starting November 15, 2019. Instead, we had a terrible experience with the owner, Mr. Giuseppe, who left us stranded outside and refused to let us into the apartment. We were coming from Ancona to Sorrento. Because of the floods in Venice, which everyone knows about, we had to take two trains. My husband kept Mr. Giuseppe updated by phone about every train delay and where we were. We reached Naples around 11 pm, and at that hour a taxi was our only way to Sorrento. We paid a fortune for the ride, believing Giuseppe would meet us with the apartment key. Halfway there, about 30 minutes from the apartment, he told my husband he was sleepy and wouldn't open the door. He said we shouldn't come because he was going to bed. We were desperate, foreigners who didn't speak the language, and begged him not to leave us in the street over something beyond our control. He still refused. He knew about the delays and everything that had happened that day, yet left us on the street late at night, half an hour from where we were meant to stay. I can't understand how he slept knowing he'd stranded two people. The tour operator and the person who booked the package also tried to reach him, and he told them not to come because he wouldn't open the door. He showed no service or humanity, and tourists shouldn't be treated that way. Guissepe never apologized or showed his face. He sent a young man, who I believe was his son, and we could barely communicate with him during our stay because he didn't speak my language.
