Casale Nunziatina

Pasquale was a terrific host. He helped us book a trip to Capri and shared restaurant tips, and I’d gladly stay with him again. We spent six nights in one of his apartments, about a 10-minute uphill walk from central Sorrento. It was also easy to reach the train station for trips to places like Amalfi by coach and Pompeii.

The walk back to our room became one of our favorite parts of the stay. We enjoyed going up and down the authentic Roman road every day, with lovely views along the way, and even coming back late and exhausted, we still found the uphill walk fun. My step-daughter and I stayed here last week, and we both felt it was the highlight of our trip. Pasquale was incredibly hospitable and did whatever he could to make our visit memorable. He made us feel like house guests, not customers.

We stayed for two excellent weeks in September at Casale Nunziatina. Our apartment, Edera, was lovely, and sitting out in the sunny garden was a real treat. Pasquale was friendly, accommodating, and full of local information. The residence is an easy walk from town, so it was quiet and relaxed.

The property is beautiful, the neighborhood has a really cool feel, and the hosts were great. Sometimes I enjoyed walking up and down, and other times, when I was too tired, I preferred taking the car.
