Sunny Flat

Fulvio was so welcoming and gave us tips for restaurants and sights. We found pasta and sauce, sweets, milk and water waiting for us. The flat is bright and nice, with free parking. Two supermarkets are close, Carrefour about 5 minutes away and Conad about 7. It’s around 10 minutes to Piazza Tasso and 12-15 to the railway station. Villa Communale and the beach are 10-15 minutes away, either by the free stairs or the elevator for 1 euro. The water can get really hot, so be careful. Some neighbors were noisy at times, but it was a good weekend overall.

Fulvio really helps make the stay easy and relaxing. He’s always available if you need information or have a question. The location is handy, only a 3-minute walk from the center, with a greengrocer and fishmonger below the building, and a butcher and market a little farther down. There’s also a tobacconist, bar, takeaway and household goods shop across the way. Parking is in the courtyard, overlooking a citrus grove. The apartment feels like home, with lots of space, good light and a lovely terrace. It’s kept meticulously and the listing photos are accurate. It has what you need, including air conditioning, a washing machine, an iron, pots and pans. The hot water stays boiling hot even after six showers, so take care when adjusting it. The heater switch is by the lights in the second bathroom, so don’t turn it off. We’re careful about water use at home too, and I usually turn it off while soaping up.

Fulvio and Andreina were very kind. The place is in a quiet park, yet only a few steps from the center. A welcoming spot.
