Tiffany Suites

The central location was good, and our room was spacious and somewhat clean, but the stay was awful and stressful. Check-in was a nightmare. There was barely any signage for the apartments, just a sign saying Tiffany Suites was on the third floor. We arrived around 4:15 pm, knocked and rang repeatedly, but nobody answered. It's a residential building and the residents couldn't help us. Tiffany Suites didn't answer our calls for about 30 minutes. It was pouring, we were soaked, and we had no idea how to get in. Eventually a man called back, was unhelpful and told us to wait at the door. Nobody came. When we called again, he said someone would arrive in five minutes. That felt sketchy and unsafe. The woman who finally let us in didn't apologize, even though we'd waited an hour. She immediately asked for the city tax and photographed our passports to send to the owner, which felt really weird. Inside, the room was spacious and fairly clean, though it could have been cleaner. The bathroom sometimes smelled fishy. Hot water lasted about five minutes in the shower and didn't come back until the next day. The bed was itchy, and the rooms were very noisy: we could hear the next room, the rest of the building and outside. The listing said breakfast was included, but there was no breakfast or even a mention of it, which was disappointing. We got no checkout instructions because nobody was around. We saw staff just once, during that brief check-in, over our three-night stay. With no breakfast, the horrendous arrival and the other problems, I'd ask for my money back. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Good luck to anyone who does.
