Hotel Tirrenia

We needed somewhere to work on our laptops for the afternoon, since Sorrento is short on coworking spots and laptop-friendly coffee shops. We weren't staying at the hotel, but they gladly let us settle in the bar area. We bought two amazing cappuccinos, the WiFi was great, and the staff were generous with their space. Highly recommend.

The pool area has a lovely view, and you can order drinks right to your seat. My room was spacious and updated, with a large shower and a balcony. The location worked well for us, within walking distance of the ferry and a street full of shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in my room price, with lots of good choices, and I really liked the dining area.

The location is great, and the rooms are roomy with comfortable beds. But the cleaning fell short. We found shoe marks on the bathroom floor, and it wasn't mopped during our stay, though they did vacuum. The soap dispensers weren't refilled either. There was no iron or ironing board in the room.

We enjoyed unwinding at the hotel's pizza bar after exploring the area. Hotel Tirrenia is just a short walk from the promenade, restaurants, and Sorrento's lovely viewpoints. The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially Vincenzo at reception, who was kind, professional, and made sure we felt looked after. Great atmosphere, service, and value. We'd happily return and recommend it.
