Villa di Sorrento

The staff made everything easy for us, especially Novella, Marirossa, and the owner. They suggested Sorrento hiking for the Path of the Gods, which worked out great. We loved the central location, close to town, and the thick windows kept the noise outside. The room was clean and extremely comfortable, with thick soft towels and plenty of water pressure after a day of walking or hiking. Breakfast was delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. When we return to Sorrento, we won't stay anywhere else.

Breakfast had a good range of choices, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and quiet, with a TV, kettle, tea and coffee, and a fridge. We had a great stay, and I'd gladly recommend the place and come back.

I was in town for a conference, and the hotel's very central position made getting around simple. My room was clean, and it did the job for a short business trip. Breakfast was adequate, though nothing special. The property feels worn and could use a renovation. I probably wouldn't have chosen it for a personal holiday, but it worked fine for the conference.

The shower was the one big letdown. It was old and mouldy, with soap scum on the doors, and so gross that I went out to buy slippers to wear in it. Aside from that, I highly recommend the hotel and plan to return next year. Our room on the third floor had a balcony looking over part of the piazza, where we loved watching people and listening to busy SORRENTO in the evening. The location is great value, close to the Piazza, shops, restaurants, and beaches. Front desk staff were amazing, always available and happy to help. Breakfast was very good, with fresh pastries and excellent service.
