Villa Giovanna

The terrace breakfasts were splendid, and the service was more than five stars. The complimentary shuttle made it easy to head out, too. The staff were superb and accommodating, especially Laura, Daniella, and Elio. Laura deserves a special shoutout. I’d highly recommend this place!

We wished we could have stayed longer at Villa Giovanna. The views were unbeatable, and the hospitality was impeccable. We also had one of the best breakfasts of our whole Italy trip. Sorrento has plenty to do, but staying a little outside the center suited us. It was easy to drive in and out, and the villa’s convenient shuttle meant we didn’t feel far away. You won’t regret staying here.

I still have one day left here, but I had to write this now because I love the villa. It’s peaceful and quiet, the staff are lovely, and breakfast in the morning is great. I’d read complaints about dated furniture, but to me the classic style fits the place and gives it so much character. They run a shuttle into the center and back several times a day, which made getting around really easy. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and an updated washroom. There are lots of places to relax around the property, and the staff were all kind and helpful. One even drove us into town when the shuttle wasn’t available. The villa sits a bit up the hill, which made it peaceful, with great ocean views. There’s a shuttle, or a handy walking shortcut that gets you to town in about ten minutes. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend it.
