The best part was how much it felt like an evening with family in a beautiful Italian home. We left full, with wonderful memories and new skills we’re excited to try at home. My husband and I took a private cooking class at Villa Pane, and from the start we were welcomed like family. The atmosphere was warm, authentic, and incredible. Our chef was funny, humble, upbeat and knowledgeable, and such a pleasure to learn from. He kept things relaxed and engaging while sharing techniques and stories. We made fresh ravioli from scratch, fried dough, chicken cacciatore, homemade sauce and a delicious lava cake. Everything was fresh, hands-on and beautifully prepared. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Sorrento!

We booked the sea-view room and the views from both the bed and terrace were stunning. The villa has a lovely authentic feel, and we had an amazing six-day stay. We also took the cooking class, which was a great day, with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere from Giovanne. We booked dinner too, and annemarie made us the best meal of our holiday while we watched the sunset. The villa is a little outside the center, but there’s a shuttle during the day, with the last ride back at 23:00. We walked down into town a few times, which took about 30 minutes.

We didn’t stay overnight, but we took the cooking class and had a great time. Giovanni and the family were so welcoming, and we’ll be recommending them to everyone. It’s a gorgeous place with stunning views out to sea towards capri. We had dinner on the porch, and it was amazing. Would absolutely recommend!

Anna Maria made the cooking class feel like being in your mom’s kitchen, and it was amazing. Everything we made was fresh and delicious. She even picked the herbs by hand from her garden. Highly recommend!
