The cabin is basic, but clean, and it’s a private one-room, one-bath place in a lemon grove, surrounded by lemon trees and apartments. It’s tucked away from Sorrento’s busy streets, with parking, and an easy walk into the centre. The small kitchen is laid out like a closet, and we could have used more storage and shelves off the floor, especially in the bathroom. We also needed extra trash bags. There was only one towel per person, which was a bit tricky for our needs over the week. Fine for a couple of days, though. The dogs barking woke us up quite a bit, and we could hear Sorrento’s busy streets.

Set in a traditional orchard with lemons, walnuts, figs, nectarines, and oranges, the Chalet was peaceful and still close to everything. We stayed in July 2011 and didn’t need the extra blankets and bedding, though they were provided for winter stays. After a week travelling around Italy, we came from Naples to Sorrento by train, and Sig. D'Esposito met us at the station and drove us the very short three-minute trip to the Chalet for convenience. A fabulous hideaway for my husband and me. We’ll definitely be back!

The garden is a beautiful lemon grove, and the chalet is modern, well appointed, and has everything needed for a relaxing holiday. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Sorrento. Highly recommend.
