Al Pörtec

The house was peaceful and cosy, with lovely views, and it was a handy distance from Bergamo and Milan. It could have been cleaner, though. Also, a woman woke us at 6am insisting we move the car from in front of the door, even though there was no sign and no car owner seemed to need access. The next day, a “no parking allowed” sign had appeared on the door.

The owner was really friendly, and the accommodation itself was beautiful. I'd definitely recommend staying here :-)

That wonderful bedroom had a spectacular view, and it was lovely to fall asleep in a very comfortable bed looking out at the lights in the valley. We also enjoyed the patio for lunch on the nice days we got, and the little house had all the comforts we needed. Nature sounds and quiet surrounded the place, with a fantastic view from inside and out. James and his mother were especially kind. We stayed from December 30th to January 3rd, over New Year's Eve, and we hope to come back to "al portec". A special hello to the cuddly kitty who always came by to greet us 😍. The service really stood out during our month at Al Portec. James sorted out every problem and answered our questions faster than chatgpt, and we were lucky to meet Mrs. Yiyi, who looked after us impeccably. The setting, surroundings, view, house, bedroom, shower, and fully equipped kitchen were all just as they should be. It honestly felt like home. Fantastic.
