The staff were so welcoming and helpful, even asking what I wanted for breakfast. The place was clean, though the shower leaked all over the bathroom. The rooms feel old, and the beds weren't very steady, so it could use an upgrade. Still, being only 200 meters from the seafront is great for days at the beach. Seems like this is common with a lot of hotels around here.

We picked it for the reasonable price and how close it is to the sea. Public and private beaches are nearby, as is the Conad supermarket. The staff were friendly and ready to help. Our room was practical, with air conditioning and a minibar, and there's an elevator. Everything was spotless. I've never had scented towels at a hotel before.

I called to ask whether they had a room for August and was cut off rudely. The lady said she had other customers to deal with and would hang up, just as I was about to confirm August 30-31. I was a customer too, and she should learn some basic courtesy before working with the public. People who bring in business deserve to be treated politely.

For a 2-star place, I was very pleased with what we got for the price. The food was excellent and generous, and breakfast was plentiful too. The staff are really friendly. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach, near the seafront. Cleanliness stood out: the stairs smelled fresh, and our room and bathroom were clean and fresh-smelling whenever we came back. I'll stay here whenever I visit Soverato each year.
