The value was poor. Rotten apples left under the trees seemed to attract too many aggressive flies, and they bit even when we tried to swim in the pool. The owners were unfriendly and didn’t make us feel welcome in their villa. Some lights in the house didn’t work, the entrance doors felt unsafe, and the TV looked like it was from the 90s. The barbecue also wasn’t working properly and hadn’t been maintained or cleaned.

The owners' kindness was what really stood out to me. Their manners felt like something from a world that has nearly disappeared. I met them on another occasion, not during a stay as their guest, but I was genuinely impressed by them.

The pool was great, and getting to the highway was very easy. The beds weren’t very good, though, and the kitchen utensils were really old. We were also disappointed there was no barbecue area, and the air conditioning was incredibly noisy.

The apartment was large, airy, and furnished well, with a garden that has tables and games, plus a swimming pool. This farmhouse sits in a lovely setting among rolling countryside and woods. It was so quiet that the only sound breaking the silence was birdsong. Highly recommended.

Marco was always available, and the place itself was charming and peaceful. It was extremely clean, with a beautiful pool and a nice barbecue area. A good choice if you want to relax, and Siena is just 10 minutes away. If you love meat, stop at the historic FANTI butcher shop.
