Villa Quiete

The garden and view are lovely, and the hotel is well organized and quiet, high up on a hill. The location is nice for the price, but the bathroom needs renovating and the internet is extremely slow. Don't bring a large car, as it won't fit through the old village roads.

The owners were great and very helpful, and I was able to park my motorbike inside the property. Though it is listed as a B&B, it offers much more. Everything is very well kept and organized. The setting is romantic and wonderfully quiet, with exceptional views across to Italy, including lipari, stromboli, and other islands. Highly recommended.

The hosts are delightful and very helpful, and I really couldn't fault the place. It's so peaceful and beautiful, with breathtaking sea views from all the rooms and a clear view of Stromboli. The road up is a narrow single track and it can be hard to find without a sat nav, but I love this place.

Angela made finding the place much easier by sending clear directions in a personal email. Check-in and check-out were simple, her English is very good, and she was at the open gate waiting for us. There's plenty of free covered parking below the house. Our room was large, with excellent air conditioning and a good little TV with the usual Italian cable channels. Wifi worked only in the bedroom, and the signal dropped once we stepped outside the door. Guests can use the whole property, including the small above-ground pool and the terrace with its stunning Tyrrhenian Sea views. We had dinner at Il Corte di Principe, where the food was great. The next evening we bought some things at a grocery store in town and made charcuterie to eat on the terrace. Breakfast was good, with the usual Italian croissants, fruit, coffee, bread, and jams. Ask Angela to show you the before and after photos of Villa Quiete. This is a lovely family-run B&B in the cool, quiet hills above Spadafora, away from the noise and heat along the shore.
