B&B La Casa nel Borgo

My girlfriend and I stayed at this B&B during the week of August 15th. Roberto was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. He practically planned the holiday for us, putting together a full itinerary for each day with excursions and guided tours. Breakfast at the famous Martinucci bar was included, and it was top!!! The room was cozy, spotless, and had all the comforts we needed, better than a hotel. We recommend this wonderful place to everyone.

We loved the delicious breakfast, served just steps away in a historic building on the main square. The rooms were spacious, neat, and spotless, and the people running the place were wonderful and took care of every need. It’s in a charming village, well placed for getting to Salento’s most beautiful beaches on both the Adriatic and Ionian sides. Highly recommended!

The owner was really friendly and happy to share any information we needed. This welcoming B&B is carefully maintained and has air conditioning, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, and more. It’s right in the historic center, close to trattorias, restaurants, and bars. The beaches are only a 20-minute drive away, so the location is excellent. We’ll definitely come back!

Tommaso deserves a special mention for pampering us and making us feel at home. We stayed nearly two weeks in this B&B, just steps from the center of the magical old village of Specchio. It feels as if time has stood still there, and every corner has charm, tradition, and hospitality. The rooms and mini apartments are clean and functional, and it’s a convenient base for visiting Salento. Breakfast is served at the Martinucci bar, with so many treats and a reputation you can count on. It’s a place we’ll never forget. See you soon!!
