My husband, children, and I loved our stay in Salento. The wonderful pool and comfortable house made it a great experience, and the location was perfect for reaching all the beaches from Otranto to Gallipoli. Ruffano and Specchia nearby are lovely villages, with excellent restaurants and pizzerias, plus supermarkets and shops. Rocco, the owner, was extremely kind and always available. Highly recommended!

The pool is the one thing that gets a pass. The villa needs a complete overhaul: there are ants everywhere, connecting walls, and bathrooms with water heaters. Forget it.
