We picked the hotel on a whim, and it turned out to suit us perfectly. Our small, quaint room was very clean and had great AC. We were on the top floor, with a beautiful view. The staff were kind and patient as we tried to ask questions without sharing a language, since we spoke no Italian and they spoke no English. Breakfast was a treat: the cake(?) was so fresh and delicious, like it had just come from the oven. We skipped the dinner option. The street noise was the only small issue, though we were tired enough to sleep through it.

The hotel and rooms themselves were fine, but our two night stay was really annoying and disappointing. A live music act played loudly right outside our bedroom window, and the performance was below average. Anyone hoping for an early night had no chance. We could only sleep once the music was over.

We stayed here with our family this week, and the large terrace overlooking the sea was a highlight. The sea is only 100 meters away. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel is well maintained and spotless. The staff were friendly and always available. Breakfast was abundant, served in a bright, well-kept dining room. We also enjoyed refined dinners at the restaurant, light and tasty, with quality ingredients. I’d give it a full 10.
