The only letdown was breakfast, which was all sweet things like marmalade and croissants. Otherwise, it’s a spotless, stylish hotel that feels like stepping back into the 60s, with warm family service from the fourth generation.
A great 60s setting. If you’re making a film set in the 60s or 70s, this would be a good location to use.

I expected to stay five days, but we walked out after the first night. The rooms felt completely unlivable and seemed unchanged since the hotel was built. The bathroom had a tub rather than a shower, and there wasn’t even a hairdryer.
Breakfast was a treat: fresh bakery pastries, Sorpresso, cheese, and juice for the kids. Our room was spotless and the beds were comfortable, and the hosts were so warm and attentive they seemed to anticipate what we needed. We stayed two nights with our children, and anyone who likes retro style should feel right at home. We’d happily return.
