Grand Hotel President

The room’s climate control was old, dirty, and not working properly. The food was awful, old, and I can’t really describe it otherwise. I also felt that people were treated differently depending on their nationality. I didn’t expect that from Italians, especially in northern Italy. I left very disappointed. One star from me. Please improve the service and treat your guests better.

I chose this hotel partly because it has a swimming pool, and I loved both the room and the location. You can see that beautiful painted building from the picture very nearby. It was my first time in Italy, and Tatiana at reception was such a helpful, positive person. She helped me a lot with finding places. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

The location works well, with free parking nearby and the town center not far away. The room has older furniture and carpet, and the bathroom is basic. Breakfast is continental. WiFi was no use to me because the reception was poor and the speed slow. The TV was much too small and mounted too high. You get what you pay for.

It feels like stepping back into the 90s, but the place is very clean and the pool deserves five stars. Breakfast could be better. The pandemic certainly made things hard for everyone, though, so I’d still say it’s good value for money.
