The view alone makes me want to come back. It’s such a peaceful, enchanting place, and I left feeling rejuvenated. The house is meant to be spartan, but I struggled to find what I needed: there weren’t many utensils or cooking supplies, which was tough given how isolated it is. The showers don’t lock, and even a small splash can flood the whole bathroom. A soap dish would help.

Surrounded by nature and still not far from Spoleto, the setting is beautiful. The apartment has plenty of space, but it’s very basic and doesn’t feel adequately set up for the people staying there, even for just a few days.
