I Tre Bacili Butik-Hotel

Tre Bacili is tucked into a peaceful corner of Spongano, and I’d certainly return. We stopped for a full breakfast in mid-May and had a wonderful experience. The garden setting is lovely, the food was delicious, and the service felt attentive and caring. I didn’t see the rooms, so I can’t rate them, but the whole property is clearly looked after with love. I’d want to stay here if I needed a room. Highly recommended!

The staff were so friendly and helpful that we felt at home. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh local food, all beautifully presented. We spent two nights working remotely at I Tre Bacili, so we didn’t see as much of the area as we’d hoped, but we still had a great time. The hotel is stylish and thoughtfully put together, with a cozy, welcoming feel. It’s a short walk from the sea and well located for both work and relaxing. We’d love to return when we have more time to explore.

Evenings by the gorgeous pool with Campari drinks and the beautiful Puglia sky overhead were a highlight. In the mornings, we had heartfelt conversations by the lush gardens and outstanding breakfasts, with local cheeses and pastries that let us taste Puglia’s rich food culture. Staying at I Tre Bacili felt like being in the lovely home of a dear friend who loves art, food, and culture. We’re leaving eager to return to this special place and see our friends again.

Filippo and his team helped arrange a private chef and waiter for dinner, which was excellent. They also helped me plan a proposal to my girlfriend at the hotel, making it a very special moment and as stress free as possible. I can’t thank them enough for the thought and feeling they put into it. Seeing how much our experience mattered to them really warmed my heart and captured the spirit of the place. We can’t wait to come back. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. Most mornings we had coffee, fruit salad, yogurt, eggs with toast, ham and ricotta, and cakes. Filippo, Maria, and Sabrina are excellent hosts, and their warmth and passion come through throughout the stunning hotel. The terrace, garden, and pool were quiet and peaceful, just right for unwinding. Spongano is small, but has some good restaurants, and there are other towns nearby with great restaurants and lidos for swimming in the sea. We used the off street parking during our stay.
