Thai Si

I only stayed for a night, and it was quiet and relaxing. The prices seemed reasonable. I missed out on the spa since it was fully booked, though I’d have liked to try it. A gym would be a nice addition, and weekend events or live music could be fun.

The room was spotless and kept in great shape, and we had a beautiful view of the lake. The staff made us feel welcome and were really friendly. I’m already thinking about staying longer next time.

What made the whole experience so upsetting was how the staff handled things after my bag disappeared. It had my passport, money, and credit card inside, and was stolen from the restaurant during our stay at the Royal Thai Si Hotel in Spresiano. My wife and I travel often, but we’ve never been put in such an embarrassing position. When I noticed the theft the next morning, I asked to see the security footage. I had to insist before they let me view it. The recording showed the bag had been left in the restaurant, which was nearly empty late at night, with staff already setting up for breakfast. I asked the hotel to call the police so I could report what happened. When they arrived, an employee suggested we were making it up to get out of paying the bill. That was absurd and disrespectful, especially from a hotel presenting itself as high-end. The way they treated us showed, to me, a lack of empathy and respect at a critical moment, as well as a failure to protect guests’ belongings. Trying to discredit my report was offensive and badly damaged the impression of their customer service. Because of what I see as gross negligence and the insulting treatment, I would NOT recommend anyone stay here. I hope this account warns future guests and prompts the hotel to urgently review its security practices and staff training. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had while traveling.

We only spent one night, though I’d gladly come back. The staff were so attentive and helpful that I can’t praise them enough. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, with a beautiful lake view. We also enjoyed the view from the restaurant, and breakfast was good. There was lots of parking, and the somewhat secluded setting suited us just fine.
