We had a really good stay. The apartment was clean and lovely, and the place was so quiet and peaceful, just right if you want to switch off completely. Marzia was adorable, kind, and helpful, and always had suggestions for places to visit. I was also pleasantly surprised by little extras: they changed the towels, which has never happened for me in apartments elsewhere, and there was a bit of breakfast waiting in the kitchen when we arrived. That was nice, and the kitchen itself wasn't bad either.

We loved staying here and hope to come back soon. Marzia, her brother, and her parents were all so kind, friendly, relaxed, and helpful. The B&B felt welcoming and was clean, with a lovely, well-kept garden outside. Breakfast was delicious, too. It's also well placed for reaching beautiful beaches, including La Pelosa, Le Saline, Ezzi Mannu, and plenty of others. Highly recommended! Best wishes, Mnica and Antonio from Salerno :)

What stood out most was how kind and friendly the owners were. They were never intrusive, but were always around to suggest places and activities, and they shared the local culture with guests. The B&B is also conveniently placed for Stintino, Porto Torres, and Alghero. The rooms were comfortable, well equipped, and looked after, and breakfast was excellent.

You have to leave at 4 am, and for €33 a night you're offered shaded spots that are nearly always taken, so you can end up sitting in the sun all day. The bathrooms and electricity are included, but the facilities are filthy and far too small for the number of people. Honestly, it's not worth it, especially with a motorhome or camper van.

The one real downside is the location, since you need a car to get around. But this is Sardinia, after all, and the prices are reasonable even in high season. B&B Altamarea sits among lovely greenery and deserves top marks. The hosts are friendly and happy to share information about beaches and restaurants.
