Bed and Breakfast Nonno Stacca

The location is isolated, despite what some other reviews say. Google Maps made that clear, though. It may suit travelers looking for quiet because there isn't much infrastructure nearby, apart from the power plant and motorway in the vicinity. The hosts might be friendly if they're in a good mood and you please them, but I wouldn't call it a dreamy place unless you like somewhere scary in the middle of nowhere. The good reviews and nice introduction on the website had us looking forward to our stay, but the experience was disappointing. Communication was cumbersome: they only replied in Italian and didn't seem very interested at that time of the season. I usually rate generously, but based on the stay, I can only give one star. I also have to say the business practices seem questionable. Writing its own 5* reviews would be fraudulent, and harassing users whose opinions differ from those glowing reviews is another matter. I hope Nonna Stacca has a good business, based on factual criteria, and can accept that not everyone will rate the place 5* as it seems to rate itself. One side note: the platform's high rating seems to come almost entirely from people with only one review. It's easy to guess who wrote them.

The staff were incredibly kind, and we really appreciated their passionate tips and stories about the area. The rooms felt new, clean, and welcoming, with attention paid to every detail. Breakfast was excellent and made with high-quality products. The location is handy for visiting famous La Pelosa beach and is also close to everything else. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.
