The food is really high quality, and the staff are absolutely amazing. The rooms do need updating, but the service more than makes up for it.

The only good thing was that we stayed for two days instead of longer. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. We booked through booking.com, where the listing said the hotel had a free private beach, but once there we learned that using the pool, beach, and entertainment required a club card costing 12 euros per person per day. If you don't speak Italian, you probably won't make use of the entertainment anyway. The room floor was dirty, and when I switched off the air conditioning I saw it was full of mold. The fridge barely worked. The person who came to look at it said it wasn't a freezer and that drinks being cooled to that degree was normal, and they wouldn't do anything about it. Unless you shut the toilet door, the bedroom smelled like an unclean toilet. The beach loungers were rusty and dirty, and the umbrellas were grimy too. The beach was covered in things washed in by the water, including algae. The staff seemed to think that was normal, but this wasn't fresh algae, it had apparently been collecting for months. You even have to pay for a towel there, with nothing in return. Food was three out of five; the drinks served with meals were a complete letdown. The hotel is poorly maintained and has an old, tacky style. It was a complete disappointment from the start, especially for anyone expecting four-star standards.

It's a nice area, but from 9 pm on there's karaoke or bad music and it's terribly loud. Getting any rest in the neighborhood is really hard.
