Very clean, with a nice breakfast. It’s close to lovely beaches, including la pelosa, but the airport and Alghero town aren’t too far either.

The owner was friendly and, although he doesn’t speak English, he finds a way to make himself understood. The area is quiet, and the B2B is worth considering for its location. But for the extra cost, quite a few things should be better. The room has the basics, though the towels weren’t changed, the fridge barely cooled anything, and the shower was cramped and awkward to use. Breakfast is at the owner’s bar about 250 meters from the apartment, with coffee or juice and only sweet options. I’d personally take the cats out of the garden, since some guests may have allergies.

Mr. Gavino, who runs the B&B owner’s bar, was very friendly. That’s where breakfast is served, about 300 meters from the property. The villa is small, furnished in Sardinian style, and has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The rooms were clean and had a mini-fridge, air conditioning, and TV. There’s private parking in the garden. The shower stall is a little small, there are no mosquito nets in the bathroom, and the soundproofing is poor. There’s no Wi-Fi.

We stayed in a lovely, welcoming home, and the owner was genuinely friendly and hospitable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but some details made the price hard to justify. What bothered me most was that the towels weren’t changed during our three days there. Breakfast is served at the owner’s bar, about 300 meters from the room. The shower is much too small and uncomfortable, a struggle to get into and wash in.
