The basement bedroom was unusable, with no windows and a strong damp smell, so nobody could sleep there. They took a deposit without doing an inventory, though they did refund it quickly, which was the one good point. The villa has potential, but the owners seem to have left it unattended, with no maintenance to make it a decent rental. For such a high weekly price, we expected much better. The reviews make it clear that nothing has been done since. We stayed for a week in August 2025, four adults and three children aged 1 to 6. On arrival we saw broken tiles balancing on the roof. The very small kitchen was full of ants and barely equipped. There were no bath mats, and the water pressure was almost nonexistent. The refrigerator was lined with aluminum foil, kept heating up, and seemed close to exploding. The gas tank was nearly empty. Several outdoor lights didn't work, including the pool light, so swimming at night wasn't possible. Exposed electrical wires sticking out of the pool inspection chamber were extremely dangerous, and the outdoor faucet leaked.
