The town and lake are fantastic, and the location is great, especially if you want to go to the beach. Just bring beach shoes: it's all small rocks, no sand, and they hurt your feet. The apartment itself was okay, but we stayed in summer and there was no air conditioning. With the windows open, the road outside sounded like a racetrack well into the early morning. The bikes were incredibly loud, as if they were really racing past, and somehow the noise seemed amplified inside.

It's close to the town center, and the owners were courteous and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable, which made it a great choice for a weekend by the lake. I'd recommend renting a garage, since there's no parking in town.

A small, clean, and affordable holiday apartment with a modern feel. It has everything you need. Highly recommended.

Step outside and you're right among the old alleys of Stresa. A good option if you'd rather stay away from the lakeside.
