The view of the valley just outside our room was lovely, and breakfast was good. Giorgia and Andrea were so helpful and clearly put a lot of care into their little B&B. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully looked after. We spent two nights at Il Folletto del Lago, and they were wonderful, enthusiastic hosts.

We really enjoyed the garden and the room, and the hosts were lovely. You can tell the place is cared for with a lot of love. We stayed three nights and would happily return. One thing to know: since it’s up on the mountainside, having a car makes getting around much easier. Stresa is about a 10-minute drive.

After a long hike, the garden jacuzzi at just the right temperature was exactly what we needed. The hosts were so friendly and generous, and the value was amazing. I’d gladly come back and recommend it to anyone.

Breakfast in the garden was a lovely way to start the day, and the bedrooms were cosy. The house is comfortable and really nice, too. Our hosts made us feel welcome and gave us useful suggestions for restaurants and things to see around the area. I’d highly recommend this B&B in Lago Maggiore.

The shaded terrasse was a great spot to wind down at the end of a hot day. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and breakfast was fine. This charming B&B is run by a lovely couple, just a few minutes from the crowds in Stresa.
