The place was comfortable, very clean, and nicely priced, with a balcony, blackout blinds, extra pillows, and tea or other drinks available for self service. The internet was weak in our room, but the owner said he had just changed the router and would look into upgrading it after receiving complaints. Children are allowed, which is unusual for a B&B, and we did hear some crying in the middle of the night, though that was a minor issue. What disappointed us most was the lack of recommendations. We couldn't get a good restaurant suggestion, only advice on where not to go, and he seemed to know little about the downtown area just minutes away.

Our room was spacious, with a nice balcony overlooking the Alps and Lake Maggiore, and the heated bathroom floor was wonderful. Breakfast was good, and Marco took great care of us and was very helpful with local information. Three really fine restaurants were an easy walk away, and driving into Stresa for our Lake Maggiore and city tour was easy too. It’s a beautiful area. Thanks, Marco!

The rooms were big, nice, and very clean, and the host was genuinely helpful and friendly. There’s a small shop opposite and some great restaurants nearby. A perfect place to stay, highly recommended!

The location wasn’t the easiest for visiting Stresa and the Borromean Islands, but it was wonderfully quiet for sleeping. Breakfast in the garden was excellent and generous, served in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The parking lot in front of the B&B has room for only a few cars, and it was full when I arrived, so Marco came with me to find a place to park on the street.
