Impero House Rent - Bella Vista

The hosts were kind and helpful, and communication was great. I loved the apartment: it was super clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed. I’d happily stay again!

We booked an apartment for 9 nights eight months ago and paid in full. They contacted us about arrival time and check-in, then cancelled the booking as overbooked just one day before we were due to fly from the UK. There was no apology or help finding somewhere else to stay. We’ve had the same experience as another reviewer, and based on the other reviews, don’t expect customer service or a holiday from this company. An absolute disgrace. Minus stars!

The WhatsApp self check-in was efficient, and the lake view was beautiful. The place was also clean. But the listing set different expectations: it said two bedrooms and a living room, while it was actually a one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living room. With that bed in use, the living room couldn’t serve any other purpose. The table was listed for six, but there were only four chairs. Road noise was bothersome, and the living room radiator was on with a broken switch, making the apartment uncomfortably warm in mid-August. The stay didn’t match what the listing led me to expect.

We rented an Airbnb villa from them, but the air conditioning didn’t work. They didn’t respond, and when they eventually did, they were incredibly rude and unconcerned. They also committed fraudulent behavior by pretending to Airbnb that they had settled the issue and payment with me. My kids struggled to sleep during the four nights we stayed. We ended up moving to a hotel, and only started our vacation once we’d left the awful situation they put us in. Avoid these hosts if you can. Awful, awful, awful.
