La Tana del Lupo

We spent the June 2nd long weekend here, and the apartment made a lovely base for the Borromean Islands and the surrounding area. Lake Orta is also nearby and highly recommended. The place is welcoming and well furnished, with everything we needed and a few extras like Netflix and a memory foam mattress. The view of Lake Maggiore is beautiful, and we had all our meals on the balcony, which was pure relaxation. It's in a quiet residential complex surrounded by greenery, about a five minute drive from central Stresa. We loved how peaceful it was. The owner was kind and helpful throughout our stay. One thing to keep in mind is the elevated location: the views and cool air are nice, but you'll need a car to get into town unless you fancy a steep walk back up. Very recommendable, especially for the fair price for the apartment and area.

We felt really pampered here. Salvatore saw in our documents that it was my wife's birthday and left us a little gift, which was so thoughtful. Daniela welcomed us, explained everything, and was always available with information about places to visit, restaurants, or anything else we needed. The accommodation is tastefully furnished, has everything for a comfortable stay, and is in a quiet spot with stunning lake views. Highly recommend, and I hope we can return soon.

We slept so well, and waking up to birdsong was priceless. The furnished terrace is just right for taking in the breathtaking view. The place is even lovelier than the photos, with every comfort and so much attention to detail. We'll definitely come back!

We've stayed here two years running and already booked again for next year. It's a beautiful, distinctive place with a rare sense of calm. The apartment is clean, tidy, and carefully looked after, with nothing missing. The lake view is just fantastic.
