The lake view is breathtaking, and the rooms are clean, well kept, and have everything you need. Guendalina is friendly and kind, almost like the mother we all wish we had. She was always ready with lots of helpful tips on getting around, places to eat, and things to see. The property is near all the tourist attractions. You can reach the center of Stresa in just a few minutes along a scenic path, without needing to use the car, which stays safe in the free on site parking. We absolutely recommend it! Golden Fox gave us a magnificent, relaxing two day, two night stay in Stresa. The setting in the Lake Maggiore landscape is spectacular. The owner, Guendalina, and her team really pampered us. We called Guendalina "an exaggerated woman": friendly, welcoming, charismatic, and like an erupting volcano. We recommend staying here.
