Aquilone Residence

Nice host and a great little place tucked into a quiet, garden-like area with several rooms. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the port. There's no breakfast service, but the room had biscuits, brioches, coffee, and water. The price is very cheap, though you do have to pay in cash.

Adriano was a thoughtful, welcoming host, and we enjoyed our two nights enough to recommend the place. We spent time relaxing at the small table and chairs outside our room, in the leafy courtyard with the sounds of birds and wind around us. There's also a large terrace looking out over the sea, though it's a little way off, plus a covered outdoor area where we had a lovely breakfast each morning.

A very good price for the quality, with a large fridge and somewhere to eat outdoors by the room. The host was very friendly, and the different rooms sit in a nice, quiet garden. The harbour is only a 10-minute walk away, and a mini supermarket is five minutes away.

The staff at Residence Aquilone were incredibly kind and helpful. They suggested a restaurant where we could watch the volcano on our first night, then booked a sunset boat tour for the second. They even checked in afterward to see if we enjoyed it. Breakfast was really good and great value for the fairly low room price. Our room was clean and reasonably comfortable, though nothing fancy, and we loved having our own outdoor space. We were very happy with our two-night stay. The location was great, close to restaurants and shops but on a quiet street away from traffic noise. I'd recommend it if you're after a peaceful spot, friendly staff, a clean room, and an excellent breakfast.
