The owner was so helpful and took care of every request, and the big terrace made the stay work really well for us. The rooms are in good shape, though they feel a little dated.

Paolo was always around with a kind word or a useful tip, which made our stay at Hotel San Francesco even better. The room was clean and roomy, and there was plenty of choice at the tasty breakfast buffet. It’s a great base, just a short walk from the historic center and handy for the area’s main sights. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

The welcome at reception was really friendly, and the service was excellent. Our room was very large, and the hotel is in a great spot. It’s already a good place, though a few small updates would make it even better. Highly recommended.

Mr. Paolo made us feel welcome and shared some great local suggestions. Thanks to him, we caught a lovely medieval festival in nearby Narni, found an excellent restaurant in Stroncone, and came across a delicious pork butcher’s shop in Terni. The hotel is only a few kilometers from Terni, with easy access to some of the province’s prettiest towns. Our basic room was clean and good value, and even had a balcony with a view. The private parking right out front was very handy. Recommended!

I was walking the Way of St. Francis and stayed just one night. The hotel is a little way out of town, but the owner really looks after his guests. My room was lovely and very spacious, and breakfast was delicious.
