Villa La Ginestra

Breakfast was a daily treat, especially the delicious food and great cappuccinos. Federico also pointed us toward restaurants, and every recommendation worked out perfectly. He was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The villa was clean, cozy, and stylish, with an authentic Italian feel. Everything seemed thoughtfully set up, so it felt welcoming as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere, hospitality, and location made the stay memorable. We'd happily return and recommend it to anyone after a charming Italian experience.

The rooms and everything else were perfect, easily five stars. Federico runs the beautiful place, which is also his home, with real care for details and for what guests need. At Villa la Ginestra, being there feels like being at home, or with family, only in a home like this! There's a lovely sense of the past that still feels current. Federico is a genuinely kind host and was always available. The rooms and bathrooms are both roomy and comfortable, furnished in a classic style, and his breakfasts were unforgettable, from the bread to the pastries and jams, all made by him. We spent two nights at Villa la Ginestra with a couple of friends for New Year's Eve in Arezzo. It's an elegant place with a bit of a British feel. The location is handy for Arezzo, around 10 minutes away, and for historic towns such as Cortona and Montepulciano. In summer it must feel even more welcoming, with the outdoor pool available and screened from view by the greenery.

Federico welcomed us so kindly and was very accommodating. The Tuscan-style villa has a beautiful garden and a warm, homely feel. We especially liked coming back from long sightseeing trips to the stove, which was always lit in the hall, and the herbal tea was always there too. We stayed three nights in the Tuscan countryside and were very satisfied. Federico made the breakfast desserts himself, and they were excellent. We'll be back.
