The spa was a lovely place to unwind, spotless and carefully looked after. Just know the sauna area is nude if that’s unfamiliar to you. We also loved how peaceful it was, with beautiful walking routes right nearby. Breakfast and dinner were highlights, thoughtful, tasty, and beautifully presented. Everyone we met was warm and helpful, and made us feel welcome. Everything was calm and full of thoughtful touches. I’d happily return.

The Reinstadlers make you feel at home as soon as you walk into the lobby, and the staff have the same warmth. That’s what makes this place special. It’s ski-in/ski-out, with a good bar, lovely food, and clean, comfortable rooms. I almost don’t want to share this gem, but if you’re in Sulda/Sulden, stay here. Looking forward to seeing them next year.

Dinner was the highlight for us. The five-course menu changed every night, and some of the best meals we had in Italy were here. Their homemade tortellini may be the best I’ve ever had. Breakfast was excellent too, with both a buffet and à la carte choices. Service was top notch throughout. Philip and Vanessa were so friendly, and the staff were exceptional. The veranda room we wanted wasn’t available, but they upgraded us to a superior without hesitation. The room was clean and well kept, with comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, and beautiful views of the Ortler and the rifugios along it. There’s no A/C, so we left the windows cracked. The heated swimming pool was very nice. We stayed three nights in August. Parking was ample out front, though the garage was very tight. Solda was a great base for daily hikes, and it felt popular without being too hectic or busy like Cortina. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Christian and his family are wonderful hosts, and the service is extraordinary. The food, rooms, and everything else are excellent. It’s a great place to start a hike or bike ride, or just relax. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thanks for everything.
