The rooms were clean and roomy, and breakfast was generously laid out. It's a great base for Sulmona, within walking distance of the center and its restaurants.

A broken spoke forced me to head down to Sulmano while cycling the Wolf’s Lair route in Abruzzo. What seemed like a setback turned out to be lucky. I called the owner of B&B Solimo in the morning and got a warm, attentive welcome a little later. After days of camping, I really needed to charge up, shower, and relax, and I could do all of that here. I had a pleasant arrival, a comfortable stay, and a great send-off. The owner cycles too and gave me useful route advice for getting back into the mountains. The B&B is in a particularly handy spot, near a good pizzeria, a small supermarket, a bike shop, and some sights. My room had a lovely view, air conditioning, and warm, cozy beds, with well-insulated walls and windows. The owners were nice, the welcome was good, and Wi-Fi was free. Breakfast was the usual sweet Italian style with coffee. For people who prefer alternatives, I'd suggest offering soy yogurt or milk too. I'd definitely recommend stopping here during a Wolf’s Lair trip. Sulmona is worth the descent and climb back out.

We hope to come back soon. Right beside Porta Napoli, this is a great place to stay. The room was bright, exceptionally clean, and lovely. The service was impeccable, and the breakfasts were delicious. Many thanks!

The room was large and had air conditioning. It was very convenient for an entrance to the historic area, and the covered parking was just a short walk away. I'd stay here again.
