The rooms are clean, but the outdoor area is not well maintained. They describe it as an "oasis of tranquility," yet private events seem to take place almost every evening and go on late. I believe events are their main activity. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this may not be the right place.

The setting was gorgeous, and the pool was a welcome spot on hot summer days. Our room was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The reception guy was friendly and spoke English, while the other woman was less helpful and difficult to communicate with. Breakfast came with the stay and was a little basic, but lunch was amazing and the servers were really friendly. A lovely hotel in a beautiful historic location.

I stayed in late May and found it an ideal, central location. It really does live up to the site's "oasis of tranquility" description. The staff were delightful. Alessio was especially helpful and polite at breakfast, and the owner, Maurizio, was a pleasure to meet. I saw him arranging the pool, taking orders, and sweeping the grounds. You can tell he puts care into his work. I really recommend it, especially room Salvia.

We had two dinners there and both were delicious. Breakfast was good, with lots of tasty cakes, though I would have liked more savory choices. The pool was great, the staff were super friendly, and the place is gorgeous 🤩 We loved this hotel.
