Filippo's house is huge and laid out really well, with beautiful vintage-style interiors and so much care in the details. If you like a retro vibe, you'll love it. The beds are comfortable, every room has a fan, and the cross-ventilation kept the house from getting too hot. The kitchen had everything, including oil, salt, herbal teas, coffee and sugar. Filippo had also left us pastries, wine, water, lemongrass and beers, which was lovely. The bathroom was stocked with shower gel and shampoo, and had a hairdryer and super soft towels. Outside, there's a lower garden with a shower for cooling off in summer, plus bikes and beach gear for guests. The huge rooftop terrace has a barbecue and sun loungers. Parking right by the door was easy, and the location is handy for exploring Salento, two minutes from the main highway and 10 minutes from Lecce center. We were absolutely delighted and hope to return soon.
