We loved spending two weeks in one of the suites with a private pool, right at the end of September. The room and terrace had everything we needed. A few spots could use a touch-up, but they didn’t affect our stay. Bugs are to be expected on a farm surrounded by nature. There’s no TV or Wi-Fi in the room. You can connect to Wi-Fi near reception if you need it, but if you require both in your room, you may want to stay elsewhere. The view and location are lovely, and there are beautiful villages, old castles and nice beaches within about a 30-minute drive. We picked one or two places a day and found plenty to do for a week without repeating ourselves. Breakfast was simple and good. We settled on a few favourites and were happy with what was prepared each day, though a bit more variety would be nice. We ate at the restaurant several times and tried nearly everything on the small, carefully chosen menu. It was delicious each time. Before leaving, we bought some of the olive oil, aceto balsamico and wine made here to remember the lovely time we had. We’ll most likely be back. Thanks to all the staff!

The host was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was really good. There are nice beaches about 15 minutes away. We found the accommodation very nice, with lots of room for the kids, who loved the natural pool. We definitely recommend it. Thank you!

The accommodation has stopped replying to our messages, which feels neither professional nor customer-friendly. We felt so uncomfortable that we cut our stay short after four nights and told them in writing. Booking.com agreed to a free cancellation, but we had already paid the full amount when we arrived. The place was in a poor, neglected state. What we found at La Fontanella didn’t match the website, booking.com description or photos. Some advertised services and attractions weren’t available or usable as described, and the ranch seemed badly neglected and almost deserted. Our room smelled unpleasant and felt unhygienic. There was a bloodstain on the sheet, dirt on the floor and the room was not clean. It was also very cold because the heating didn’t work. With the high humidity, even the towels stayed wet overnight. We were only offered daily cleaning after two nights, and it didn’t change our first impression. It was especially disturbing that nearby rooms were left uncleaned and uncleared after other guests had checked out. We absolutely cannot recommend this accommodation.

We had a wonderful weekend in the countryside, a lovely way to unwind and recharge in nature. The rooms were very welcoming, and the restaurant served delicious homemade food with excellent house wine. Breakfast had plenty of sweet and savoury choices. The staff were extremely kind and always available. We also went horseback riding right on the property, where the people at the ranch were friendly and welcoming. A wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing break!

We came away from our two days here with a real sense of authenticity. The owners, staff and products all felt genuine, and we got to taste their products at breakfast, aperitif and dinner. It’s a beautiful green spot with a natural pool and pond, just the kind of place to escape city chaos. Thanks to everyone, see you soon.
