We arrived at night one day and found no parking where we were meant to leave the car. There was a large empty space nearby with hardly any cars, even though it was apparently for residents, so we left ours there and got a fine. Where were we supposed to park? We're at the top of a mountain in a community of neighbors, supporting local business by staying here, and if the designated parking is full, that empty lot seems like it should be an option. The police came all the way up there, so someone must have alerted them, or at least that's what I think. It feels unfair to the customer. Were we meant to park down in the city and carry our suitcases up the mountain?

The restaurant food was delicious and the staff were really friendly. It's a fantastic little hotel on a hill in a tiny but wonderful village. I'd give it at least six stars!

The setting felt magical, and the food was wonderful, with a really interesting wine selection. We were a little disappointed by how long it took for the second dish to arrive.

A charming family place, out in the middle of nowhere. Friendly, and kind of magical.
