Agriturismo Loghino Sabbioni

The rooms are simple, comfortable, and clean, and the food is natural, delicious, and full of local character. We only stayed one night because I had surgery the next morning at the nearby hospital, which was a pity since this place deserves more time. The owners are lovely and always happy to spend time with their guests. It was a very pleasant surprise, and we’re grateful for the hospitality.

The location is handy if you have an appointment for surgery at Suzzara hospital the next morning, just 10 minutes by car. It also suits a work trip if you want to eat and sleep in the same building and feel comfortable there. What stayed with me most was the easy, welcoming atmosphere. There’s no TV playing in the background, just good food, friendly conversation, and a sense of sitting around a table the old-fashioned way. The wine is excellent and goes well with the meal without taking over. You can taste the care in the authentic products, grown from the land and made by people who put their heart into the work. The owners are generous hosts, opening up as soon as you arrive, especially when you share a little of yourself too. It’s a simple, genuine place where life seems to slow down. Thanks to Roberto and his wonderful parents.

The peaceful setting is close to the Po River cycle path, and the only sound we noticed was the rooster. We were warmly welcomed, had a really good dinner, and enjoyed breakfast with lots of tasty homemade treats.

I booked this farmhouse on a whim because I needed somewhere quiet near the hospital, and it turned out to be such a lovely surprise. I was on my own, but the hosts made me feel right at home. Dinner was unforgettable: pumpkin risotto I can still smell, plus delicious stuffed rolls. And don’t skip the apple tart at breakfast! Thanks so much for everything, hope to see you again soon.
