Completely hidden in the depths of the Maremma Nature Park, the village is perched on a hill which dominates the entire bay from Talamone up to Monte Argentario. The town centre of Talamone is about 2 km from the hotel and Talamone beach is only a 5-minute walk away. There is a train station about 2 km away in Fonteblanda. Other attractions in the area include Giglio and Giannutri Islands, which can be reached by public ferry in about 20 minutes. This family-friendly beach hotel offers a total of 80 apartments as well as cottages and camping grounds for caravans and campervans. The hotel is air-conditioned and the lobby has a 24-hour check-out service. Facilities at the hotel include a games room, kids' club, café, bar and restaurant. There is also a car park available for guests to use. All with a view of the sea, apartments comprise a lounge with kitchenette (equipped with cooking utensils and refrigerator) and sofa bed (2 singles). They have double bedrooms and an en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. All apartments are fitted with individually regulated air-conditioning and a comfortably furnished veranda. There are plenty of recreational and entertainment options at the hotel, with tournaments, games, aerobics and aqua-gym lessons all taking place in the games room, gym or on-site panoramic outdoor swimming pool with children's swimming area, sun loungers and parasols. Children also have their own playground, miniclub and junior club. In the immediate vicinity guests may choose from a variety of sporting activities such as archery, tennis, volleyball or beach volleyball, basketball, table tennis and giant draughts. There is also a football field available. On the beach guests may hire sun loungers and parasols. For guests who enjoy water sports, there is the option to go diving, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing or pedal boating. Furthermore, there is a golf course about 2 km from the hotel.

We came back with the family from September 7 to 14, 2025. At first the kids were disappointed that Fragolina and Nicole weren’t there this time, but they soon got to know Antonella, Kaira, and Alberto and had a brilliant time with them. They said the animazione was even more fun this year. Special greetings to Antonella, Kaira, and Alberto. We had a wonderful stay again. On our first visit, my husband, our two children, aged 7 and 9, and I spent a week at Comfort Michelangelo. The pool and beach were lovely, all the staff were friendly, and the animazione was great. My daughter Elisabetta sends another hello to Fragolina and Nicole. We’ll definitely be back next year.

It’s a pretty place, and the tents were clean. The beach is just a five-minute walk away, and there’s plenty to do, with lots of pools and activities. You’ll also find the basics you need, including hot and cold showers, toilets, and a laundromat.

The campsite is in a lovely area, with plenty of activities for kids and nice trips nearby. You can shop on site, and there are several pools, though one of the two deeper ones was closed while we were there. There’s also a shallow pool for children, playgrounds, a restaurant, a mini market, and a games room with foosball and arcade machines. Accommodation choices are varied, and the site is laid out on terraces. The facilities are older, and the restaurant could be better. The campsite’s beach was the worst part for us. The water is shallow and smells bad, likely because of all the seaweed on the bottom. It even cut our son’s foot when he stepped on it. There are lots of kitesurfers, so swimming is practically impossible. Even in the marked swimming area, the water barely reaches your knees, and you have to get in via stairs from a pier. There is beach service and a bar, and you can rent a boat or pedal boat, but that didn’t make up for the beach itself. Gianella is a beautiful sandy beach about 15 minutes away by car.

We stayed one night in our motorhome for €31, and there’s a deal if you stay two nights. They also recommend renting a bike. The site is very well equipped and clean, with two pools, a supermarket, bar, restaurant, toilets, showers, and washing machines. You can find all the information on their website. It’s in the woods but close to the sea, and it’s one of the most beautiful campsites we’ve visited so far. It does get a bit noisy at night, though. That didn’t bother us, so for us it could be an ideal holiday spot.

The pool is beautiful and has a nice view. Everything else was disappointing. We stayed in the Michelangelo house, which was in really bad condition and didn’t look like the website photos. The baby and kids disco was noisy and annoying, and started at 22:00. The staff seemed more bored than helpful, and the beach was horrifying. See the video I posted.
