Michele made us feel so welcome, and breakfast was a real treat: homemade each morning, with fresh pastries and coffee just right. We stayed in October 2024, and found the room spacious and incredibly clean. It’s also an ideal base for nearby trails and hikes, or simply for taking it easy.

We stayed just one night in Il Raggio, and the warm welcome from Miguel and Giuliana made us feel at home straight away. The room was cozy, spotless, and warm, with efficient heating and handmade furnishings that fit the village’s 1400 style. It had a private bathroom with a bidet, shower enclosure, and the bath items we needed. Wi-Fi was included too. The B&B is in the center of Faltona, close to Talla and places of interest in the Arno area, including Camalodoli, Poppi, and La Verna. We were impressed by the room’s lovely details and the hosts’ helpfulness. There’s also a courtyard with tables and a wood-fired oven, plus a dining area serving local food. We didn’t get to try it this time, but it’s on our list for the next stay in Faltona. A hidden gem in Casentino!

Michele was such a welcoming and helpful host, and the B&B itself is beautifully done. It’s in a small historic village, with a renovation that shows care in every detail. My partner and I spent one night here and were enchanted by the place. We’ll definitely come back.

I only tried lunch, with a great trekking group, but everything from the appetizer through to the grappa was excellent. I’d like to come back and stay overnight 👍👍

The room had a traditional feel and was really cozy. We got a lovely welcome, dog included, and the location was wonderful.
