Untertelshof

We spent three nights at this lovely little B&B and came back to the farm each evening after exploring the valley. There’s plenty to see nearby. We rode the chairlift at trafoi about three quarters of the way up the mountain for a direct view of Mt Ortler, the province’s highest peak. We also saw the marble showrooms in Laas, where even the street cobbles are marble, and a church partly sticking out of a lake about half an hour up the pass. The farm road from Google Maps gets narrow in places. We tried both directions during our stay, and either way it was about 15 minutes to the amenities we needed. The view from just outside the front door was incredible, stretching 180 degrees down the valley and up into the mountains. Elke made us feel at home and was so helpful. We were offered fresh farm goods, including milk every day, free range eggs, jars of honey and home-smoked back bacon, Tiroler ham. We’d forgotten bread, but she happily brought some out at breakfast, along with sliced ham, eggs, fresh milk and honey. We had a fantastic few days and thought it was great value. Thanks to everyone at the farm. The place is amazing, and our dog Sally was kept busy playing with Maja, the little farm dog.
